“We take pride in our hometown and it’s been a dream of ours to help our community as much we can. It is so special to us that each child can feel inspired to follow their dreams when they see this wall on their way to treatment. We look forward to doing more good work with Children’s Specialized Hospital.”

Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation is honored to have received a $38,400 Connecting Joy Grant from the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation. This grant provides endless entertainment for our patients with three Fully Loaded Electronics (FLE) mobile gaming carts, a PlayStation5, and Xbox Series S, 15 adaptive Nintendo Switches, an interactive mobile floor cube, four ceiling projectors, two Apple iPads, a Snoezelen Deluxe Mini Cart, and various other state-of-the-art gaming accessories.
Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation is honored to have received a $30,000 grant from the Margaret and Peter Chang Foundation to fund two years of care expenses for CSH Mountainside's Long Term Care Center facility dog, Gallop. Gallop is an essential part of the care team at CSH and as a full time therapy dog she has special requirements like frequent grooming, food, emergency veterinary costs, supplements, treats, food, toys and other supplies. In addition to every day expenses, funds from the grant were used to produce adorable Gallop pillows for each child in our long term care center so the kids can have Gallop with them all the time.
“What Mark and Ed did for children and families in New Jersey in their roles as campaign co-chairs is beyond remarkable,” said Leslie Logan Taylor, Chair, CSHF Board of Trustees. “There is no one more deserving of this honor and recognition.”
