Alissa Memoli Recognized by NJBIZ on 2024 Leading Women in Business List

Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation (CSHF) is thrilled to announce that Alissa Memoli, President and Chief Development Officer (CDO) has been recognized as one of the 2024 Leading Women in Business by NJBIZ. Previously known as the NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business, this program recognizes women who have made a significant impact on business in New Jersey.

In 2023, Memoli assumed the role of President and CDO at CSHF after a long career in leadership at the American Heart Association. In just one year, she has infused new energy and vision into the organization and successfully implemented critical changes that are improving efficiency, increasing capacity, and driving momentum toward a sustainable future.

“After a lengthy search and interview process by the CSHF Board of Trustees, it was clear that Alissa was the right person to modernize and optimize our Foundation,” said Leslie Logan Taylor, Chair, Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. “On behalf of the entire Board, I congratulate her on this well-deserved honor. We are so grateful to have her lead this organization.”

As the President and CDO of CSHF, the fundraising arm of Children’s Specialized Hospital, the effectiveness Memoli’s leadership creates a tangible impact for children and families throughout New Jersey. As a nonprofit organization, the hospital relies on philanthropic support to provide an exceptional level of care to the growing population of children living with unique health challenges—from chronic illnesses and complex physical disabilities to a full scope of developmental, behavioral, and mental health concerns.

Memoli’s impact extends beyond the children and families receiving care at the hospital. In her first year, she has brought together a network of New Jersey business leaders and entrepreneurs from various industries across the state to support CSHF and attracted influential business leaders to serve on the Board of Trustees. This collaboration advances CSHF’s mission while fostering networking and business growth opportunities for all involved, creating a broader positive impact on the New Jersey community.
