Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation Announces James Pirot as Chair of 18th Annual Walk n’ Roll

Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation (CSHF) is thrilled to announce that James Pirot, Managing Principal at Cresa New York and CSHF Board of Trustees member, will serve as Chair for the 18th Annual Walk n’ Roll. This event, dedicated to raising funds and awareness for CSHF, will take place on October 13, 2024 at Colonial Park in Somerset, NJ.

Pirot brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for community service to this role. His leadership and commitment will be instrumental in driving the success of this year’s event.

“We are honored to have Jim Pirot chair the 18th Annual Walk n’ Roll,” said Alissa Memoli, President and Chief Development Officer at CSHF. “His dedication to our mission is inspiring and we are confident that his leadership will help make this year’s event our most successful yet.”

The CSHF Walk n’ Roll is a family-friendly fundraiser that brings together CSH patients, families and staff as well as a community of supporters to celebrate the critical work at CSH that is changing kids’ lives. In addition to the charity walk, participants will enjoy a day filled with fun activities, entertainment, and the joy of making a difference in the lives of children living with unique health challenges.

This year’s Walk n’ Roll aims to raise $400,000 for CSHF, which will go directly towards enhancing the hospital’s programs and services so more children can access the care they need to thrive. With the community’s support and Pirot’s leadership, this event will make an immediate and lasting impact on children and families in New Jersey and beyond.

“I am deeply honored to chair this year’s Walk n’ Roll,” said Pirot. “Children’s Specialized Hospital is a special place—a place where parents can find real help for their child living with complex and often life-long medical conditions. I am passionate about the mission of Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation and look forward to seeing everyone come together at Walk n’ Roll to celebrate the impact we’re making together every day.”
